LeadMagicX makes it easy to import your Facebook friends as contacts so you can organize, tag, and follow up with them using your lead management workflows.
- Open Facebook Messenger in your browser with the LeadMagicX Chrome extension active.
- Click the LeadMagicX icon in the extension toolbar to open the sidebar.
- Navigate to the Contacts or Import section.
- Select Import Facebook Friends.
- LeadMagicX will scan your Facebook friends list and display available contacts.
- Choose the friends you’d like to import:
- Select All — Import your entire friends list at once.
- Select Individually — Check the box next to each friend you want to add.
- Click Import Selected to bring them into LeadMagicX as contacts.
When you import a Facebook friend, LeadMagicX pulls in the following information:
- Name — Their Facebook display name.
- Profile Link — A direct link to their Facebook profile.
- Messenger Access — Allows you to message them directly from LeadMagicX.
Once imported, your Facebook friends appear in your contact list. From there you can:
- Add private notes to remember key details about each contact.
- Assign them to a funnel to start working them through your pipeline (see Creating & Managing Funnels).
- Send message templates to reach out quickly (see Creating & Using Message Templates).
- Search, filter, and sort your contacts to stay organized.
- Import in batches if you have a large friends list — this helps you stay organized from the start.
- Add notes right after importing so you remember why each person is a potential lead.
- If a contact is already in LeadMagicX, they won’t be duplicated during import.
